Anna Freeman

about me
My name is Anna Freeman, and I am a Designer and Illustrator from Milton Keynes, England. As an Artist, much of my work is influenced by making a positive difference in the world. My work typically features a vibrant and energetic colour palette with layering textures.
I believe that Art has the power to engage and inspire people in a way that words alone cannot. By creating art for campaigns and good causes, I hope to contribute to a progressive world. This has included working on projects that campaign for free school meals, raising awareness for the barriers women face in professional sport, and educating the importance of abortion being accessible to all women.
I have been grateful to pursue my goals through working with charities such as the National Saturday Club, Array Collective for Mental Health Awareness Week, as well as work with Artists such as Chez Taylor on a community project for MK Gallery.
I studied Fine Art & Illustration BA (hons) at the University of Coventry. Notable works throughout my modules were working on a Kickstarter Campaign, entering the D&AD young blood awards, and working with real clients such as the JDO agency.
Alongside my studies, I worked as an Art Assistant at the National Saturday Club for two years in the Art & Design branch. This provided me with hands on industry knowledge, while giving me the opportunity to teach my own skills to young people wanting to follow the creative career path.
